The forecast for this week has temperatures in the 60s and 70s and I am so so ready to not be cold 24/7! I love all of the pinks, greens, yellows, and blues that come with spring. Walking down the aisles at Target right now just make me so happy! As we transition into the warmer weather, I am also transitioning more color into my wardrobe. I’ve been picking up some adorable pieces so far this season that are such fun colors. I wear bright colors year round, but it’s even more fun during this time of year when the weather is warming up and we can spend all our time outfit. In this post I am sharing some of my favorite ways to add color to your spring wardrobe to create the perfect outfits for the new season.

Adding Color to Your Spring Wardrobe

Red

I was never much of a red girl until coming to a college where one of the colors is red. Over the past three years my collection of red clothing has grown and I have to say, it has grown on me. I love adding color to my outfits with simple pieces like this romper because they are so comfortable but you still feel so put together. This romper is from Hummingbirds Boutique and I absolutely love it. The material is so soft and I love how it pairs with this cardigan which is also from Hummingbirds Boutique. This cardigan is the perfect spring piece. I love how it layers on top of dresses, rompers, and shorts for all those chillier spring days.

Yellow

This top is one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now. This yellow color just makes me so happy and it is the perfect color for brightening up your wardrobe. I am not sure what it is about smocked tops but I absolutely love them. The sleeves on this top are absolutely gorgeous as well, I love a good statement sleeve and these are perfect! My most worn pair of pants every spring are my white jeans. These are perfect for brightening up any outfit and I love how white denim looks paired with some fun colored pieces. The white denim just makes any color pop even more which I love. This top is from Apricot Lane Charleston and it is probably one of my most favorite pieces I have ever found in their store, which is a big statement to make! The spring piece from Apricot Lane have been incredible this season. You can use the code MOLLYREF for 30% off your orders as well!

Every Shade of Purple

I’ll be honest, I have never been a big purple girl but I have seen so many fun pieces this year that are making me fall in love with the color! You all already know my love for bodysuits and when I saw this one I knew I had to pick it up. I am wearing the same white cardigan and y’all, this cardigan is so good! I was not expecting to love it as much as I do. It is just so cozy, and looks cute paired over almost any outfit! I paired this bodysuit with my go-to pair of jeans for a casual and classic spring look. Bodysuits are a great piece to pick up this season because you can style them with jeans and a cardigan now and with shorts or a skirt in the summer!

Sage Green

I have been obsessed with green this year, it is just such a fun color and I have been seeing it everywhere! Simple tanks are my go to during the spring in summer, especially right now when we are all spending the majority of our time at home. As you can probably tell from this post, I love pairing fun tops with bottoms that can be restyled again and again. These denim shorts were a favorite of mine last summer and a pair every girl needs in her wardrobe! They are high waisted which makes pairing your favorite cropped top with them even easier. As soon as the weather continues to warm up, I can guarantee you I will be living in some version of this outfit all spring and summer this year!
