I feel like winter has just hit here in North Carolina and I have to say I am not a fan. I am so ready for the temperature to warm up and for the sun to come back out… although I would not be opposed to a snow day. The key is to actually get snow and not just rain though. However, despite these chilly temperatures I am still heading to in person college classes. I have compiled some of my go to college going to class outfits that are perfect whether you have in person classes this semester or if you are lucky enough to have virtual classes.

A Little Dressed Up

This sweater is only $12 and such a perfect staple piece. I love how you can change how cropped the sweater is with the synched tie detail on the front. This is a lightweight sweater so not ideal for anyone living in a freezing climate but I typically will wear it with a jacket layered over top. This is the perfect option if you want to be a little dressed up but still comfortable for sitting at a table or desk all day. And these booties are my go to shoe for when I need to walk around campus because they are so comfortable and have the best support.

All About Athleisure

I love a good athleisure set and I practically live in this set during the winter. This is the perfect casual college going to class outfits for heading to class or running errands around town. I try my best to go for a walk or complete some type of physical activity throughout the week and this outfit is perfect because I don’t have to worry about changing in the middle of the day. Unfortunately this zip up is from last year but Lilly released two more that are solid colors and I never added something to my wish list quicker! Lilly Pulitzer athleisure is expensive but it is worth every penny. Personally, I think it is better than Lululemon and the price points of the two are very similar.

White on White

I love wearing white throughout the winter and this look is perfect if you want just a little bit of contrast in a white on white outfit. My white jeans are by far one of my most worn pieces in my wardrobe and I love how they look with this black quilted vest. This vest is so unbelievably warm and is a great staple piece you will be able to wear for years to come! My favorite black fashion belt is restocked too and I couldn’t be happier to be able to share it again! This is such a cute accessory to add to any outfit and can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

The Best Neutrals

I don’t know what it is about this joggers and tee combo but it has been one of my go to outfits for a cozy day. I love these high waisted joggers so much and cannot recommend them enough! The best part is that they are under $30 AND you are supporting a small business! This black top is so incredibly soft and it does have a tie detail to synch it up on both sides. However, I didn’t like the look of the ties hanging down so I simply just tucked them into the top and you honestly couldn’t even tell. My favorite white sneakers are at a very low quantity right now so be sure to order them so you don’t miss out!

A Pop of Pink

I have my fair share of days when I stay in sweatpants but I am pretty positive I will forever love to dress up, even if I don’t have a reason to. This bright pink sweater is one of my favorite items in my closet because it adds such a fun pop of color and pairs with almost any type of pants! I paired it with my faux leather leggings, no one is surprised! I front tucked the sweater into the leggings and since this sweater is so thin, you cannot even tell. However, if you are wanting to front tuck a thicker sweater, just tuck the sweater into your bra instead of your leggings for a seamless look! I finished the outfit off with some of my current favorite pearl accessories!

Styling Basics

When putting together college going to class outfits I am almost always reaching for my favorite basics. I love a good peplum top and this waffle knit material is so soft! I think this top pairs perfectly with high waisted jeans especially since it is a high low style. The balloon sleeves are so flattering and a perfect top to reach for when you want to look like you tried but you didn’t. Throw on your favorite booties and some fun gold accessories and you are ready to head to class. This top is from Apricot Lane Charleston and unfortunately it is sold out. However you can shop all my other favorite Apricot Lane pieces here! You can also get 30% off with the code MOLLYREF!

Flannels & Faux Leather

I am back with yet another outfit with my favorite faux leather leggings. If you do not already have a pair, you need some! I have already worn mine more than I thought I would and I now completely understand the hype. This outfit is so cozy with an oversized flannel layered over top and a great outfit for headed to class or even a dinner out with some friends. I absolutely love how these leggings pair with black booties as well!

Staying in Sweats

It wouldn’t be a college going to class outfits post without another loungewear option! Never would I have thought I would own more than 2 pairs of sweatpants but here we are with quite the collection. This pair has been my go to lately and for all the right reasons. These sweatpants are so incredibly soft and create the perfect outfit for zoom classes and a cozy day at home. There is also a matching sweatshirt and if my sweatshirts were not currently taking over my closet I would purchase it because the matching set is just too cute!
