This has been the longest yet shortest week ever and I have to say I am going to be soaking up every second of the weekend. We are officially over a month into the semester and I am starting to get into a pretty good routine… finally. Just like I do in every college outfits of the week post, I am sharing all of my outfits and a little bit of what I have been up to. This week was filled with a lot of student teaching, photoshoots, and school work.
I love putting together these posts because I am able to document what I have been up to. I’m so glad you are liking these photos too! I am always trying to put together new outfits for you all in these posts using pieces that I love. Not every piece is still available but I did my best to link as many similar pieces as I could!
I love a slow Sunday and that was exactly what this Sunday was. It has been so cold in North Carolina this week so I have been living in all my comfy loungewear. I spend pretty much every Sunday getting as much homework done as I can to get ahead for the week. I have been in such a funk lately and it felt so good to just relax and get work done. This is one of the outfits I included in my Winter College Going to Class Outfits post. It is a perfect outfit for lounging around and having an at home work day.
As many of you already know, I am in my semester before student teaching so I am in the classroom a lot. I spent the entire day Monday completing observations and working with my clinical educator. I’ve loved being in the schools so far! I have received so many requests to share more teacher appropriate outfits and I promise, the post will be coming soon! I just need to get all my favorites together first!
I have classes from 8 to 6 on Tuesdays and I find myself so much more productive when I actually get dressed. This sweater is from Apricot Lane Charleston and hands down one of my favorite pieces for this awkward season in between winter and spring. It is no longer available but I found a very similar style for you! This semester has been so different from last semester and I finally am getting into a good routine.
I don’t have classes on Wednesday and I didn’t have observations today so I had the whole day to sleep in and get work done for the blog. I had a photoshoot bright and early in the morning and I started shooting some transitioning to spring looks. I’m so excited for spring and cannot wait to start sharing all my favorite skirts and pastel colors again! I had some Zoom calls and meetings later on in the afternoon. This was one of my favorite outfits from the week, I loved the spring colors and the pop of print with my headband!
It was a very cold and rainy day and the thought of getting ready at 6 in the morning didn’t sound like a good idea. I threw on my favorite black leggings and printed zip up. I honestly probably wear this outfit every other week so you definitely see it frequently in my college outfit of the week posts. But, these outfits showcase my real life and I am 100% an outfit repeater.
I went back to my school for more observations this morning and I opted for the comfiest outfit that I could wear while still being in dress code. Since I only had observations in the morning, I came back to my apartment and got caught up on laundry and some other odds and ends that I had been procrastinating all week. I also started re-watching the To All The Boys I Loved Before movies so I could watch the new one.
Every Saturday and Sunday in my College Outfits of the Week posts always seem to be pretty similar. Balancing being a full time student, clinicals for student teaching, and blogging can be a lot. So, most weekends I prefer to get ahead on as much work as possible. It was a very cold and rainy day so having a cozy day inside was exactly what I needed! I honestly did not do much of anything today but it felt so good to just relax. However, I am feeling very motivated now to get busy and have a productive week ahead!
