Happy Sunday! We are getting closer and closer to the end of the semester and I cannot believe it! This week I finally started to begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel and getting so close to the end of my first semester of senior year is ending. This week I have been busy working on final projects, completing clinical hours, and getting my second Covid-19 vaccine. Just like in all of my College Outfits of the Week blog posts, I am sharing all of my outfit details from this week and recapping what I have been up to.

My Sunday started bright and early by working on homework. Since the pandemic started, I haven’t studied in the student center like I normally did. However, on Sundays the student center doesn’t open until 1 so I went to the balcony to get work done outside because I knew no one would be around. It was so nice to get homework done while getting some fresh air. I got a little bit of homework done but spent the rest of the day catching up on some YouTube and scrolling on TikTok. I also ran a couple errands to get out of my apartment and drive around for a little bit.

I spent the morning at my clinical placement completing some more observations. It is so crazy to think in just a couple of weeks I will begin getting ready for my full time student teaching experience. I wore this denim jacket last week as well and I can guarantee that it will be styled on the blog quite a bit this month! I’m obsessed with the pearl detail and I think it is a perfect piece to throw on with any teacher dress. I headed back to campus after observations to get busy on homework and my final projects. Checking items off my final to do list feels so good and it is just about the only thing motivating me to get work done.

Tuesday is my long day of classes and today was no different. I hit the ground running first thing in the morning and didn’t stop until I had all my work done. I always find myself so much more productive on days I have class which I guess is a good thing. After class I had a fun conference call in the afternoon for a project I am working for on the blog and I am so so excited about it!

I had a slow and productive morning but headed into my clinical placement for an afternoon of observations. Today was one of those days when I put on 14 different outfits and still couldn’t find one I loved. However, the Lilly Pulitzer Donna Rompers are my favorite for this time of the year and I LOVE the fact they have shorts. This sleeve style is one of my favorites and I am hoping more come out in new prints soon! When I got back from my school I had such a productive afternoon. I did my best to get ahead on as much as possible before the weekend and was able to accomplish that!

I received my second Covid vaccine today and I am so grateful to be fully vaccinated! Of course, I had to wear this fun t-shirt that I made which I think turned out so cute! I went to my morning class before getting my vaccine and then headed back to campus for my two afternoon classes. Since I worked ahead this week I could just relax this afternoon/evening after getting the shot because I head so many people had symptoms. I spent the entire afternoon catching up on A Million Little Things and I definitely watched more TV today than I watched all semester. As much as I hate doing nothing, it did feel good to just relax and not think about a to do list.

There is no outfit of the day picture for Friday because I stayed in my pajamas all day. I woke up with a fever and headache from my vaccine. I am not complaining and would take the symptoms again any day over getting Covid. But, because I didn’t have anything to do, I had a lazy day to just let myself recover. I watched some Netflix in the morning and towards the afternoon I was starting to feel like myself again. I am so grateful my symptoms weren’t bad because I know so many people had it worse than I did. Once I started feeling better, I took advantage of having the whole apartment to myself and deep cleaned the bathroom and my room. It was a pretty boring day but luckily was able to get some work done!

I woke up and had to be productive especially after having two days of doing basically nothing. After procrastinating, I finally finished one of my final projects and then spent the rest of the afternoon finishing up this blog post. I also spent quite a bit of time pre-filming some new content for Instagram Reels and TikTok which you will be seeing soon. My evening was spent crossing random items off my to do list and getting ready for a new week.
