Long time no chat! I haven’t shared an outfits of the week post in two weeks and I cannot believe it! I’m back from taking some time off and feeling refreshed and so ready to jump back into the blog full time this summer. I didn’t share an outfits of the week post last week so unless you read my life update, you wouldn’t know that I started my summer job. As much as I am glad to be on summer, I am so grateful to be back on somewhat of a schedule.
We celebrated Mother’s Day today and had the best day at home! My mom and I have been loving our Minni Dip pool in the backyard and spent some time soaking up some sun. My sister, dad, and I made dinner for my mom. This was a perfect casual outfit for some family time in the backyard! I’m loving neutrals for summer right now!
I had my last training shift at work and I have been loving it! The girls I am working with are the sweetest and I think it will be such fun summer! I had a fairly short shift today so I spent the remainder of the day working on the blog and watching Gilmore Girls. I’m sure you noticed while reading this post, the blog got a little bit of a face lift which took up quite a bit of time but I am hoping you are liking the new format!
I was up bright and early to take my sister to get vaccinated and then spent the morning filming some reels and finishing up some blog maintenance. The weather was perfect in Charleston today so I headed outside to enjoy the sunshine. I cannot stress enough how much I am loving these denim paperbag shorts. They are so comfy and fit like a glove! 10/10 one of my favorite pairs of shorts for this summer.
It was a cold and rainy day in Charleston and to be completely honest, I didn’t leave my pajamas all day. However, this is an outfit from last week when I didn’t share an outfits of the week post so I thought I would include it. It was too cute of an outfit not to share! I sat on the couch pretty much all day pre-writing blog posts, updating WordPress plugins and doing lots of research on how I can best improve my social media. Hopefully you are seeing these changes and they are making your experience on my blog better!
All the rain from Wednesday brought in cold weather and I couldn’t believe it for this time of the year. I worked an inventory shift at work so I spent my afternoon and evening in the store. Other than going to work, it was a pretty boring day so not much to report.
I had the day off so I slept in and then ran some errands around town. After unpacking from college I had a lot of clothes to take to consignment. Once I got home, I spent some time outside and then headed downtown with my mom and sister for a girls shopping afternoon. I always love spending time downtown with my mom and sister. I am so excited for my sister to officially be out of school for more days like today!
I started my morning by having a Dunkin’ date with my sister. We used to do this all the time last summer and I am sure the tradition will carry over to this summer. After our breakfast date, I got ready and headed out the door for work. It was such a fun day at work and I am so glad I’m working downtown! My parents and sister met me downtown after my shift to get some ice cream and walk around the battery. It was a perfect ending to a great week!
