I fell in love with this ruched dress as soon as Dress Up released it this past weekend. I immediately picked it up and I already think its going to be on a constant rotation in my closet. The ruched detailing on the sides allows you to adjust the length which I love! This makes it a perfect dress to easily transition from daytime to a date night outfit. For today’s blog post I am styling a ruched dress two ways to begin transitioning into fall.
Staying in Summer
This first outfit is perfect for transitioning into fall and the back-to-school season because it is still summer weather appropriate while still introducing a fall color scheme to your wardrobe. When styling this outfit, I kept the dress shorter but I love how you can make the dress as long or as short as you want. My macramé earrings are some of my most worn and a staple in my wardrobe for all seasons. I also have been loving these platform sandals and I love how they instantly dress up an outfit while still being comfortable. This would be a perfect outfit for a dinner out or swap the sandals for sneakers for a shopping day with your girlfriends.
Falling for Fall
Like I said, the selling feature of this dress for me was that I could adjust the length and make it appropriate to wear when I begin student teaching this fall. I popped a cropped denim jacket on which is a perfect piece to add an extra layer as the weather starts to cool off. I switched my shoes out for some sandals and this pair is a must for this upcoming back-to-school season.
