It is officially sweater weather and I am so so excited about it! I love layering outfits and sweaters are such a great way to do that! I feel like each year when a new season rolls around I want to buy an entire new wardrobe because so many companies are releasing so many new cute pieces! However, that can get so so expensive!! This year since I am away at school in a cooler climate I wanted to get a couple new sweaters but all the sweaters I wanted for VERY expensive so I went on the hunt to find some more affordable ones!
Personally, prior to this month I have never ordered from SheIn because I had always heard mixed reviews and I never wanted to risk it. However, I found some ADORABLE sweaters and I couldn’t beat the price so I decided to purchase two of the ones I found! (you can see how I styled one of them in this blog post!) I love mine and I recently received a request to share some cheaper sweaters so I thought I would share some of my favorite finds! I found all of these from SheIn and Forever 21. I personally don’t own any of these but from my experience from SheIn I would recommend looking at the sizing and dimensions to see if you should size up or not. I didn’t do this the first time I ordered and I ended up having to reorder one of the sweaters because it ran small!!! (I wish that both of mine would have run a little bigger but since they were so cheap I can deal with them not being the exact dimensions I wanted.
For this blog post I styled the second sweater I ordered from SheIn. This sweater was the one I was most excited about but I ended up not loving it as much as I thought I would. This sweater ran SMALL and even though the dimensions on the small and medium on the website are different, I ordered both and they are actually the exact same sweater. So if you want the over sized look, don’t order this one unless you are an XS or XXS.
I really liked this sweater because of the tie in the back! Over all, I do like the sweater but I just wish it was over-sized instead of true to size (for reference, I typically am a small in sweaters and this is a medium. Also this is the largest size offered in this sweater).
I wore this sweater with my favorite Old Navy jeans and a scarf that is from J. Crew. This scarf is from a couple years ago but I linked a similar one! I wore a pair of earrings from Target and my favorite Marley Lilly booties.
I hope you liked this blog post and found it helpful! If you find any good deals on sweaters definitely let me know!
Happy Monday!
