If I am being honest, this week has been one of the best weeks of the semester. I’m recapping everything that I have been up to including sharing some of my favorite outfits from this week. For those of you who do not know, I am a student teacher and this week at school we had spirit week so I did my best to put together some fun outfits! I started the week off at home in Charleston and finished the week off at home in Charleston and it was exactly what I needed. My heart is so full and I am feeling ready to finish out this semester.

I was home for the weekend so before heading back to school my mom and I ran some errands and then I got some ice cream with my parents. If you are local to Charleston, Off Track is my absolute favorite! Once I got back to campus I quickly unpacked and then got cozy in bed to watch some Gilmore Girls. A perfect way to end a slow Sunday!

Monday was a teacher work day and it was so nice to sleep in and leave earlier than normal. I cannot believe how quickly my student teaching experience has flown by! After I got home from “work” I spent some time getting small tasks completed around my apartment. I gave myself a fresh manicure and let me just say, the Olive and June fall collection truly is incredible.

This Tuesday felt like a Monday and I was dragging all day! I was getting over a cold and if I could’ve stayed in my pajamas all day I would have been thriving. However, I headed to school and had a day full of getting students caught up on all their assignments for the first quarter. I also have been working hard to complete my teaching portfolio for my university. Graduation is quickly approaching and I am doing my best to stay on top of everything!

I had a low key day which is exactly what I needed. When I got home from student teaching I watched some Gilmore Girls, put on some comfy clothes, and lit a candle. It was the perfect way to spend the evening, especially with the cooler weather we have been experiencing.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting today all semester because I got my scores back for edTPA which is a teaching portfolio the state of North Carolina requires student teachers to complete. I submitted the portfolio at the beginning of the month and found out Thursday that I passed. I’m so excited to have this stress relieved and I am even more ready to finish out this semester! I packed up my duffle bag again to head home to celebrate for the weekend!

I experienced the day before Halloween weekend and let me just say, I was exhausted at the end of the day! I woke up early and got the majority of my weekend assignments completed before a full day of student teaching and driving home. My trip home went so smoothly which is always appreciated. I got home and spent some time with my parents before heading to bed.

I slept in this morning and it felt so good! Since I was home, I went ahead and got my flu shot so I don’t have to worry about it throughout the remainder of flu season. My mom and I headed downtown to go to the Farmer’s Market and to do some shopping. I obviously had to stop into Dress Up to do some shopping. We stopped by Trader Joes to pick up some of our favorite snacks and then headed home to make a Charcuterie board. I spent some time working from the couch and watched some Hallmark Christmas movies.
