Happy Labor Day! After what feels like the longest summer ever we are officially transitioning into fall. The one thing I am most sad about when it comes to leaving summer is packing up my shorts, tank tops, and dresses. I am so not ready for the cooler weather! With Labor Day comes the long time saying to pack up all your white clothing. Personally, I have never followed the no white after Labor Day rule and don’t plan on ever following it. I love white clothing and there are so many ways you can still style white even after summer has come to a close! I put together three outfits all including white that I will definitely be reaching for this month!

Adding an Extra Layer

My white denim jacket was one of my favorite pieces last year and I already know once the weather starts to cool down I will be wearing it on repeat again! When wearing white after labor day I try to keep the majority of my outfit darker to add some contrast with the white. I wore a tassel cami that I loved this summer and I am so excited to be styling it again to transition into fall. I paired this cami with some jeans and my favorite booties which I wear far too frequently!

It’s all in the Details

Another favorite fall trend of mine are these adorable overall dresses. I purchased this one last year but so many retailers have brought them back this year. I paired a simple white tee underneath to brighten up the look. And of course, I had to finish the outfit off with my favorite felt hat!

Transitioning with White Denim

White jeans are one of my closet staples. Since the weather doesn’t cool down until October in South Carolina means we don’t get to wear them throughout the summer. If you have been reading the blog this summer you would definitely recognize this smocked top. I wore this top all the time this summer and because of the color it is the perfect piece to transition into fall. I added my favorite booties, shocking, and a denim jacket for those chillier mornings or nights.

I will forever be in support of wearing white after Labor Day because it is so easy to transition into fall. I truly think you cannot go wrong with white in any season! Hopefully this post gave you some outfit inspiration for this upcoming month as we begin to transition out of summer and into fall.
